Infrastructure
Rizing has a hybrid environment allowing for both cloud and on-premise development and deployments. A hybrid approach allows greater flexibility and cost-effective resource allocation. However, since the Rizing corporate accounts make use of domain-less Office 365 accounts, the corporate accounts cannot be used within the on-premise environment. As a result, two separate accounts are required:
- Office 365 account:
*.rizing.com
- Rizing IO account:
*.rizing.io
(requires VPN)
In general, any websites/domains that end in rizing.io
require you to be on the Rizing VPN (using your RIZINGIO domain account). Any domains ending in rizing.com
will use the corporate Office 365 single-sign-on account.
Cloud
Rizing uses various cloud vendors for cloud computing needs; including:
AWS virtual machines can be setup with VPN access to the RIZINGIO domain.
IP Ranges per environment:
- Colo Network: 10.3.81.0/24
- AWS Open VPN: 172.27.240.0/20
- AWS Network: 10.2.1.0/24
- Azure Network: 10.4.0.0/16
On-premise
Rizing's "on-premise" (RIZINGIO domain) environment is hosted in a co-location data-center (located in Tampa Florida). This environment is managed by the Rizing Tech Ops team.
TODO: Document Rizing's on-premise infrastructure policy and procedures.
